About the position
Team Starr Transportation has operated as an interstate for-hire carrier since 2018. We are a small fleet of seven tractors based in Texas, and we are hiring a CDL-A driver based between Brownsville and Laredo for over-the-road flatbed routes.
Recent trips have covered Texas and states across the Midwest, the Rocky Mountains and the South.

What you will do
- Haul flatbed loads on over-the-road routes across the U.S.
- Secure every load with straps and chains, following FMCSA cargo securement rules.
- Do your pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep accurate hours-of-service logs.
- Keep us and our brokers informed about pickup and delivery times.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A.
- At least 2 years of CDL-A driving experience.
- Live in the area between Brownsville and Laredo, TX.
- Current DOT medical card.
- Pre-employment drug test and FMCSA Clearinghouse query.
- Ability to read and speak English, as federal regulations require for commercial drivers.
- Available for over-the-road trips.
